What I offer
Functional and strength training. Specialized in ball hockey, hockey, and football.
About me
I’ve been involved in sports my whole life, and strength training has been with me for more than 20 years. My main sport is still hockeyball, which I actively play.
I started the traditional way, focusing mainly on physique and training like a bodybuilder. I competed in three contests, although without any major success. Over time, I shifted my focus to powerlifting.
Like many men, I was interested in combat sports and tried both kickboxing and BJJ. I soon realized that bodybuilding or powerlifting-style training has limited carryover to these disciplines. That’s why I also added Olympic weightlifting to my training, and now I focus on an athletic training style that combines kettlebells, Olympic lifting, landmine work, rings, and other elements. My training is now aimed primarily at carryover to the sport I prefer.
I use the same approach when working with clients—we build from fundamental movement patterns and tailor training to each person’s individual needs. Most of my clients train primarily to improve their health, move better, and simply enjoy exercise.
