Street workout is a bodyweight class using bars, parallel bars and floor exercises, suitable for beginners and advanced participants, developing strength, endurance, coordination and core stability.
Street workout is a fast-growing discipline that uses your own body weight, mainly in exercises on pull-up bars, parallel bars, stall bars, and on the floor. It significantly develops strength and endurance, helps strengthen the deep stabilizing system, and teaches you to work with your body against gravity.
It is rooted in calisthenics and outdoor training, formerly referred to as ghetto workout. Above all, it is about motivation and pushing your own limits, not competing with others. We will introduce you to the basic workout five: the pull-up, dip, push-up, squat, and leg raise. From these foundational exercises and their variations, we gradually move on to more advanced elements such as the muscle-up, back lever, and human flag.
We use pull-up bars, stall bars, resistance bands, and open space. You may be surprised by what your body can do and by how wide the range of exercises is, even without any equipment.
Street workout is practiced today by all age groups, including children. There is a separate training session for kids where street workout elements are also included. The training is designed so that everyone can work at the right level of difficulty and at a pace that suits the group.
This class is suitable for all age groups. Thanks to the individual approach, the training is adjusted to match each participant’s level.
For class, you only need clothing that does not restrict your movement, a towel, and enough fluids.
