MMA

Easter Opening Hours
Friday 3/4 (Centrum 8 AM–3 PM, Jinonice closed), Saturday 4/4–Monday 6/4 (both locations closed)

MMA combines standing and ground fighting techniques from multiple disciplines and suits both beginners and advanced participants who want to build fitness, strength, coordination, and practical self-defense.
MMA (mixed martial arts) has grown steadily in popularity in recent years. Its appeal lies in the fact that a single match combines several different fighting styles, both standing and on the ground. Throws are also a crowd favorite, often drawing from judo and wrestling.
MMA training is highly varied. It includes techniques from a range of combat sports, such as Muay Thai, boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Learning the basics is not easy, but with the right guidance, MMA can be a great and enjoyable way to challenge yourself.
You do not need to aim for cage fights right away. Even without competitive ambitions, MMA has a lot to offer. You will learn to defend yourself more effectively, react under pressure in stressful situations, build strength, improve your fitness, shape your physique, and gain better control of your body in a wide range of movements. At the same time, you will also improve your flexibility and mobility.
