Kickboxing

Advanced kickboxing for trainees with basic experience who want to develop punching and kicking technique, stand-up work, fitness, dynamism, coordination, and mental resilience.

What is kickboxing?

Kickboxing is a great choice if you want to learn something genuinely practical for real life, improve your fitness, and get a seriously good workout at the same time. You’ll learn not only how to throw punches and kicks correctly, but also how to move, defend yourself, and stay composed under pressure in uncomfortable situations. And even if what attracts you most is movement and fitness, speed, coordination, and confidence in your movement are always useful.

Who the class is for

Kickboxing is one of the most complete stand-up combat sports. It forms the basis of the stand-up side of MMA and many modern self-defense systems. It combines the best of classic boxing — punches, guards, slips, and footwork — and adds kicks, knees, and the basics of clinch work.

In our classes, you start with the basics, so there’s no need to worry about falling behind or that training is only for experienced fighters. Classes are designed so that both beginners and those with some experience can train well. The coach structures the session so training partners work together with others of a similar level and physical ability.

And most importantly — this is not mindless brawling. The point of training is to learn, improve your technique, build resilience, and help each other keep progressing.

Sportswear, a towel, and plenty of fluids. We train barefoot. As soon as possible, you’ll want hand wraps, boxing gloves, and a mouthguard. Later on, shin guards and knee pads are useful too.
