What I offer
Functional and strength training with a focus on kettlebell work
About me
Movement and sport have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played rugby for Tatra Smíchov for over ten years and made it all the way to the junior national team. The injuries that followed me throughout my sports career gradually led me to strength training.
I started out mainly with powerlifting- and bodybuilding-style training. But more injuries eventually steered me toward functional training, and especially kettlebells, which became my main specialty, whether that means hardstyle, sport style, or even kettlebell juggling.
To me, a kettlebell is not just a piece of iron. It’s a tool I use to spread a little more good in the world. At the same time, I’m just as happy to work with bodyweight, a barbell, or anything else that makes sense for the person in front of me and their goals.
I don’t see coaching as just a job. I see it as my calling, and at the same time as a great responsibility. That’s why I keep learning and pushing myself forward, both in my coaching skills and in my own training.
And honestly, it doesn’t matter to me whether I’m working with a professional athlete, a senior, someone with a movement limitation, or a person who has just found the courage to walk into a gym for the first time. Everyone starts from a different place and has a different goal.
What gives me the most joy is when someone stops training because they “should” and starts genuinely looking forward to it. When training helps them build strength and confidence, or lets them do things in everyday life they didn’t dare to do before—or simply couldn’t.
The point of training isn’t to be better in the gym, but to live better outside of it.
