What is Flow Rope?

Flow Rope, sometimes also called a flow rope or flow cord. Unlike a classic skipping rope, this practice was created to unify the whole body and teach it to work as one connected system. This is achieved through training smooth movement patterns based on full-body rotation using the shoulders, hips, and legs. Your body learns to integrate muscle chains while improving coordination, agility, and balance.

All the techniques the rope offers correspond to athletic movement patterns, so practicing them carries over into everyday activity and your overall locomotion – walking becomes more natural, running smoother, and throwing easier. Flow Rope is a modern functional training tool that teaches you to integrate the upper and lower body into one whole. It is an amazing rotational tool for restoring mobility in the shoulders, rib cage, and hips.

By practicing a range of cyclical movements, you improve your biomechanics, coordination, balance, and physical fitness. The rope is an ideal tool for getting into a state of Flow – a state of present-moment awareness and deep immersion in the activity. But above all, training with a Flow Rope is fun: it brings playfulness, discovery, and joy.

What does Flow Rope bring?

✔ The practice was specifically designed to engage both sides of the body, right and left, and therefore both hemispheres of the brain. One of the biggest benefits of Flow Rope is harmonizing the dominant and non-dominant sides, balancing symmetry, and improving neuromuscular communication between them. ✔ Not only is it perhaps one of the most portable fitness tools in the world – something you can always keep close at hand because it takes up almost no space – but very few tools can get you into a flow state so quickly as Flow Rope. ✔ Circular movements tracing the shape of a horizontal figure eight, or the infinity symbol, carry something incredibly therapeutic. Repeating movement patterns, the uninterrupted continuity of the spinning motion, and the sound of the swing bring you into a state of flow, where you lose track of time, the mind calms down, and brain waves shift from the usual logical-analytical beta state into alpha waves, typical of meditation and awareness of the present moment. After syncing with the rope, you feel recharged, energized, even euphoric.

How much?

The seminar price is CZK 990. The price includes loan of a training rope. During the seminar, we also provide free coffee/water/isotonic drink (unlimited) and towel rental.

What should you bring?

Bring comfortable workout clothes (shorts and a T-shirt are enough) and a good mood. We train barefoot.
