Barbell - learn proper squat, bench, and deadlift technique

A course focused on proper technique for the barbell squat, bench press, and deadlift.

What does the barbell course include?

As part of this one-day course, all participants will go through a screening - an evaluation of how each person moves and where their strengths and weaknesses are.

Based on that, the coach will be able to work with each participant individually during the course and teach the technique in the most effective way for that specific person.

The course will also put emphasis on proper movement preparation - warm-up, mobility, and activation needed for training the given movement. This will be followed by instruction in the main lift (squat / bench press / deadlift). If anyone has significant imbalances or lacks mobility and stability, they will be recommended additional exercises to help improve those areas.

For those interested, the information can also extend into the competitive powerlifting environment, as squat, bench press, and deadlift are the three powerlifting disciplines. The course is led by a coach from the Czech Powerlifting Federation and the chair of a powerlifting club. If there is time left at the end of the course, you can also ask questions about competitions and competition-standard execution of these lifts.

How much?

The seminar price is CZK 1,790. During the seminar, we also provide free coffee / water / sports drink (unlimited) and towel rental.

What should you bring?

Bring comfortable workout clothes (shorts/leggings and a T-shirt are enough) and a good mood. If you don't have special lifting shoes, you'll train barefoot.
